What in the world is Direct Primary Care? Direct Primary Care (DPC) is simply a healthcare practice and payment method arranged between the patient and the physician or practice. Insurance is NEVER billed.
What makes Direct Primary Care (DPC) worth it?
Direct Primary Care allows patients to spend more time with their Doctor during appointments and allows for more personalized care. Direct Primary Care also gives patients without insurance an affordable alternative. This method of healthcare billing is designed to be truly affordable to EVERYONE.
Can I sign my children up for a membership? Absolutely! We offer a Child Membership at a discounted rate for those who are under the age of 18. Find out more about pricing on our "Membership Options" page.
Does Dr. Hall require my children to be vaccinated? While Dr. Hall does recommend certain vaccinations for children, she ultimately believes that this decision should be left up to the parents. No, children's vaccinations are not required, but some are highly recommended.
What if I have health insurance, but I still want to come see Dr. Hall? That is totally fine! Insurance is NEVER billed, but many patients use methods like Health Savings Accounts (HSA's) to pay for memberships or appointments. Many patients with insurance coverage still choose to be members because of the time and care Dr. Hall gives.
Does Dr. Hall accept Pain Management patients? Yes, however, Dr. Hall requires patients to sign a pain management agreement and follow strict policies to ensure patient safety. Dr. Hall reserves the right to discharge any patient that is not in compliance with all office policies.
What if I want to be seen by Dr. Hall, but I am undecided about starting a membership? Don't sweat it! Dr. Hall offers One-Time Appointments starting at $130. If you are unsure about starting a membership, we offer a 30-day grace period after your first appointment. If you sign up for a membership within the 30-day grace period, we will count the first appointment as a member $25 scheduling fee, and the remaining $105 spent on the first appointment will be added as credit toward your account.
How much am I expected to pay when I come for the first time? One-Time Appointments are $130 plus any labs or extra services. Those signing up for Monthly Billed Memberships are expected to pay the first 3 months in advance ($65x3=$195) plus the member scheduling fee for the appointment ($25), so a total of $130. Those signing up for Annually Billed Memberships are expected to pay-in-full for the year ($685) plus the member scheduling fee for the appointment ($25), so a total of $710. Can I cancel my membership anytime?
All memberships are under a One-Year contract. You may cancel your membership at any time, but you may be subject to Cancellation Fee.
Do I have to sign up for a membership to continue receiving Rx refills? Yes! With this DPC model of healthcare, in order to be considered a patient of Dr. Hall, you must be a member at her practice. Dr. Hall does not send multiple refills of prescriptions for individuals that are not a member/patient. This ensures that Dr. Hall is able to safely monitor patients and their progress with their medications.
